Phillies Pitching Staff

The Phillies starting pitching staff "on paper" is the best in the National League East. Now all they have to do is translate that to the field. Here are my predictions for the 2007 campaign.

Brett Myers should emerge as a viable Cy Young candidate if he stays healthy. he has pitched well in Spring training and has been selected as the Opening day starter. Prediction : 16-9 with 220 strikeouts.

Cole Hamels has unlimited potential. If he stays healthy (and that's a big if), he should have a great year. Prediction : 14-7 with over 200 strikeouts.

Freddy Garcia is a big question mark. Although, he's a proven starter in the American League, he is currently hurt and his spring has been awful. Prediction : 13-11.

Jamie Moyer - Prediction : 9-7 ; Adam Eaton - Prediction : 7-11
