It was a sad week to be a Philadelphia Sports fan. Harry Kalas died Monday after 27 years as the voice of the Phillies. Watching or listening to a Phillies game will never be the same for me. Harry's voice is synonymous with the Phillies. I probably started following the Phillies in the early 1970's and Harry Kalas has always been the lead broadcaster since 1971.
Kalas' home run calls were outstanding. "....It's outta here !". RIP, Harry, you'll be missed.
