Manny Ramiriez should be benched by Joe Torre for Game 5. With his team leading in the 9th inning of Game 4, Ramirez's early shower and blatant non-interest in the outcome of the game should be addressed.
Joe Torre put the best spin job on this situation you'd ever want to see, saying it was no big deal and it's just Manny being Manny. Bottom line is that Ramirez is about one thing.............himself.
Frankly, I hope Torre does not bench him tonight. By doing so, he may fire up his lifeless Dodgers, who I'm sure could care less if Ramirez plays or not.
I know for a fact that old school managers like Lou Pinella, Bobby Cox or maybe even Charlie Manual would never put up with Manny's act and he'd be on the bench for sure.
I think we've seen the last of Manny Ramirez this season.
Phils in 5.

Thank you for understanding that I knew basketball better than anything at that point in my life - and I could play - and stick with almost anyone. I used to hate actors in sports films who weren't atheletes, so I appreciate your starting 5 from a motion picture.
Sincerely and respectfully, Robby Benson
