NFL Divisional Playoff Predictions

Since the Eagles lost last week, my interest in the NFL playoffs has diminished. However, I still feel the need to make my predictions. Here they are :

NFC :

Dallas (+3) over the Vikings. It pains me to say this, but the Cowboys are probably playing as well as any NFL team is now. Cowboys 24, Vikings 17

Saints (-7) over the Cardinals. Although, Kurt Warner had an incredible game last week against the Packers, the Saints will have a distinct home field advantage and should win in a shoot out. Saints 38, Cardinals 24

AFC :

Colts (-6) over the Ravens. The Colts have been consistent throughout the year, but the Ravens are coming off an emotional win last week against the Pats. This should be a close game. Colts 20, Ravens 13

San Diego (-7) over the Jets. New York is flying high now and is playing very well. However, I think we'll see Mark Sanchez's inexperience and Gang Green's run to the Super Bowl stops on the West coast. Chargers 24, Jets 10

I hope you are wrong about the Jets - I do not like the Chargers. But hope of a fan does not change the talent on the field if Sanchez does well I think that would make whoever they played next a really fun game to watch.

Kindest regards,

Tom - You were right about the Jets. Their defense is very good and I forgot that a good defense and a good running game wins in the NFL ! I underestimated that !

Good call.
