With a 9-6-1 record, the Eagles snuck into the NFC playoff picture with an improbable chain of events this past Sunday. Now that they're in, the Birds face the Vikings who are certainly not a powerhouse in the NFC. If they can neutralize Adrian Peterson, the Eagles should be able to win this game easily.
Other than Peterson, Minnesota's offense is mediocre at best. Quarterback Tarvaris Jackson spent a number of games on the bench this season and has only thrown 20 passes in a game once this year. He'll be under pressure all day from the Eagles defense.
