76ers are Destined for the NBA Lottery

The once proud Philadelphia 76ers franchise is now one of the doormats of the NBA. This year's team is listless and has no intensity whatsoever. Coach Eddie Jordan's Princeton office is a disaster. That scheme went out in the 1940's. What a joke. Jordan has been horrible this season. He's probably had 20 different starting lineups and his team can't finish out tight games. That's a sure sign that he's not the coach this team needs.

It's probably time to blow up this team and build it back up. Players like Samuel Dalembert, Andre Iguodala and Elton Brand are sleep walking this year. Combined, these three pull in $40 million a year.

I thought adding Allen Iverson to the roster would help invigorate the team. But he's now hurt and they are plummeting. At 7-21, they are the 3rd worst team in the NBA.

Ed Stefanski has been a disappointment as GM. The team is hopelessly over the NBA salary cap and probably won't free up salary space for 2 more years.

Let's hope during the NBA Draft lottery their ping pong ball comes up and they can get the #1 overall pick. That is about all we can root for this season.
