Eagles and Vick Lay an Egg on Tuesday Night Football

The Eagles did not look like a NFL playoff bound team last night and Michael Vick looked nothing like an NFC Pro Bowl quarterback.

Vick was awful last night. He had 3 critical turnovers (1 interception, 2 fumbles), but easily could have thrown 3 more interceptions.

Since the Birds can not improve their playoff seed, I think they should rest key starters (including Vick) for Sunday's game against Dallas. Even though it is always sweet to beat the Cowboys, the game means nothing in the standings.

Let's hope the Eagles learn from this game and come into the playoffs with a new attitude and purpose.

I am still optimistic about the Eagles chances in the NFC playoffs.
