West Virginia - No Class !

Rich Rodriguez resigned as Head Football coach at West Virginia in mid December to accept the Head coaching job at the University of Michigan.

This behavior of coaches jumping around and taking the next best job is now commonplace in college sports. Rodriguez's timing wasn't great, but the $4 million a year salary at Michigan incentivized him make the move.

Since the move, Rodriguez has been the victim of a smear campaign that has spread to his family and friends.

The West Virginia Governor,Joe Manchin, has taken shots at Rodriguez, chastising him for his lack of commitment to WVU.

These great Mountaineers fans have vandalized his home near Morgantown, hanging signs on a fence and damaging property.

Rodriguez's nephew has received a death threat and found other harassing notes in his locker at school. His niece is being escorted to class due to threats.

The state of West Virginia tends to be the brunt of jokes and comments concerning their "red neck" citizens. Well, frankly, this behavior by West Virginians just quantifies every stereotype out there regarding West Virginia.

Let it go Mountaineers ! You are not the only school ever to be let down by a coach !
