It's Crunch Time for the Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles should now kick it in high gear for the next 6 games. The schedule is not that difficult, with slam dunk home games with the Redskins, 49ers and Broncos. Away from Lincoln Financial Field, are games with Atlanta (most likely a win), Giants (tough one) and the Cowboys (revenge game).

Conservatively, the Birds should end up 10-6, with a shot at 11-5.

This team has battled injuries all season and hopefully that is all behind them now. The offensive line seems to be back healthy and should become more cohesive. The defense has not played extremely well this season and should also be getting key personnel back over the next couple games (Jordan, Samuels).

It looks like LeSean McCoy is the Bird's primary running back here on in. Sorry, Brian Westbrook, you've had a nice run for us, but it's time to pass the baton. McCoy is young and so far, pretty durable. Let's hope he can hold onto the football, which has been a problem for him this year.

If the Eagles can peak in December, they may have a chance to enter the Playoffs on an up note and challenge New Orleans or Minnesota for the NFC championship.
