Kevin Kolb needs to make an impact right away this year if the Eagles are to have any chance of staying a top tier team in the NFC. Kolb has been an understudy now for 3 years and should know the offense very well. This is his team now. The Birds have the weapons on offense this season. A huge question continues to be the Offense line which has been one of the more consistent areas for the Eagles during the Andy Reid era. If the O-Line has problems, Kolb's development as an NFL QB may take a hit (no pun intended).
The Eagles early season schedule is somewhat favorable, but the second half is a killer, with games against Indianapolis, Minnesota, Houston and of course the division teams (Dallas, NY).
It's critical the Eagles get out of the gate fast this year and Kolb is the key to making that happen.
