The Phillies stayed alive and will play a game 6 in Philadelphia on Saturday. It's still a do or die game, but at least they're out of Frisco. The Phillies played terrible out West and hopefully they get it together at Citizens Bank Park.Game 5 stars:
1) Ryan Madson - Struck out the side in the 8th and didn't give the Giants any hope of a comeback.
2) Roy Halladay - He didn't have his A+ game, but gutted out 7 innings.
3) Jayson Werth - Big HR in the 8th to provide the insurance run needed for Lidge in the 9th.
