Just when you think the Phillies are making progress, they get swept in a series ! The Phils scored a whopping 4 total runs in the 3 games ! Bad luck getting Pettitie, Oswald and Clemons all in 1 series !
Lieberthal and Bell combined for an .058 average in the series (1-17). These 2 are simply killing the Phillies offense. We need more production from these 2 positions. Your 3rd baseman can't hit .240 and have 6 hrs, unless you field like Brooks Robinson !
Frustrating ! The next few series are against sub-500 teams. The Phils have to perform !
