Synopsis of the Eagles' needs for 2007.
QB - Even if Garcia does not re-sign, AJ Feeley can hold down the fort until Donovan returns. The Birds should sign another veteran QB for insurance if Garcia does not return.
RB- The Birds need a big back to compliment Westbrook. Buckholter is not the big bruising back needed for those 3rd and 1 plays.
WR - Re-sign Dante' Stallworth. This is probably the biggest off season move the Birds can make. Reggie Brown will continue to improve and Hank Baskett showed he is a "serviceable" possession receiver. The Eagles are high on Jason Avant too.
TE - The Eagles have a tough decision on LJ Smith. He did not have a great year in 2006, but other teams would covet him. I believe the Eagles should re-sign Smith.
OL - The Eagles look set on the Offensive line. Hopefully, Shawn Andrews' injury in the NFC Divisional game is not serious. Jon Runyan (above) probably has one good year left in him.
K - Akers is solid
