Eagles Defensive needs in 2007

DL - The Eagles have some depth on the defensive line and hopefully Jeavon Kearse comes back from his knee injury. I still believe the Birds need a big 330 lb DT to clog up the middle and help stop the run.

LB - This is the biggest need for the Eagles. They need a playmaking outside linebacker that can rush the passer too. It seems the Eagles don't value the linebacker position as much as other teams do.

CB - Sheppard and Brown are solid, but they could use some depth here. Lito's injury in 2006 exposed the Eagles a bit.

Saftey - Dawkins may have one year left and it looks like Michael Lewis is gone. Sean Considine lacks the size to be a strong safety and should be a special teamer or nickel back. The Eagles need to draft a safety in the first two rounds of the 2007 draft.

Punter - Dirk Johnson had a good year in 2006. He should stay.
