The national media has been blasting the Philadelphia Eagles fan base for their lack of respect and appreciation for Donovan McNabb. Frankly, I agree with the media that the fans from Philadelphia and the local media really do not know how lucky we are to have McNabb as our quarterback. McNabb has just led the Birds to their 5th NFC title game in the last 9 years. I doubt many people could name another QB that has done that lately. As of today, I would challenge anyone not to list McNabb as one of the top 5 QB's in the NFL this year.
This has been a frustrating year for the Eagles, having barely made the playoffs. BUT, that is all behind us now, and the fan base have to finally give #5 his proper due as the best QB ever to play for the Eagles.
Along with a superb defense, Donovan McNabb is one of the primary reasons Philadelphia is one game away from a trip to Tampa as the NFC representative in Super Bowl XLIII.
